Canelo Alvarez - "i'm The Best Fighter In The World"

Damn lie. Did you watch the gift live? That's when wbc started doing that bull**** open scoring after every 4 rounds. I mean trout was in the fight winning rounds,lots of them. Then they'd read the scores out and have Canelo up something like 4-0, then damn near 8-0. Anyone watching knew those cards were filed out before the fight started.

 

When Trout did land, he was landing bull **** punches and he missed a lot. Canelo landed with a higher percentage and he landed the harder shot. Foh. You may have not liked the scores but Canelo clearly won. You can't make a case for why Trout won, foh lmao.

 

LMAO Pacquiao would destroy Canelo at 147-151 Canelo would be drained and Pacquiao would make him quit!

 

canelo is legit and he should believe he is the best in the world. but theres some fights out there if he took them n won them we would be all on board with that statement.

for example ggg, or beat lara convincingly which he didnt do at all . but i dont blame him for going to grab that belt at 154 makes sense. but now what is he going to do ? move up to 160 after his injury heals and fight ggg leftovers? i dont think he has the greatest argument for p4p 1.

p4p number 1 goes to andre ward despite him going inactive temporarily. but really tho after that canelo might be the man so him saying hes the best fighter in the world could b true . i dont even really like him that much but the dude can fight. hes poised smart cool calm collective fighter. thunderous body shots, and his combination punching keeps improving. canelo used to load up with one or 2 shots but now is throwing nice variety of combination punching n his technique looks really nice.

 

The first half of the fight was all Trout, there was nothing meaningful landed fir Canelo. He looked lost in there,and Trout was just plain outworking and outlanding him. It wasn't until the end of the fight that Canelo got in the fight and started winning rounds. There's plenty a case for Trout to win,even though the robbery i was talking about was the obvious paid off judges. No one had the scores that far off. A draw or point either way was fair,not the judges giving every damn round to Canelo. Cause that wasn't the fight that happened.

 

I just want to be sure that we're on the same page. This is the fight that we are talking about right?

Canelo isn't even the best fighter at 155.

 

He hasn't even proven to be the best in his division. Hell, Smith was backing him up on the ropes and landing clean right hooks throughout the fight. Unfortunately he didn't have any pop. Is Saul's resume good? A win over Lara and Trout is good, even if Trout hasn't exactly gone on to conquer the boxing world since. His humiliation at the hands of Mayweather shouldn't be counted when considering his resume as he saw a cash grab and took it and proceeded to get thoroughly outboxed with basically a jab. So, we have two good W's on his resume, both of which happen to be contested to this day. If anything, I'd say he's overrated a bit.

For the record, I actually like Canelo as a fighter. He has a great style with fast hands, excellent combos/uppercuts, and an underrated defense. My only problem with him is his general demeanor since the Floyd fight. Same happened to Cotto, my former favorite fighter. They both became huge divas, but Canelo still has time to turn it around and really cement himself as an ATG Mexican fighter. Unfortunately, contested wins over Trout and Lara aren't enough. I'd like to se him unify 154 (if he can make the weight) or just move up and try his hand at 160.
