Weird that Kirkland is classified as having a glass chin even though he endured a full ten rounds of having his chin tested by hard-hitting Tapia who later went on to win the WBO-NABO Light middleweight title. In fact, Kirkland was only stopped two times in his 34 fights. How many ALTs have a worse record than that? Joe Louis was stopped twice. Did he have a glass jaw? Jersey Joe Wallcot was knocked out six times. Did he have a glass jaw? Joe Frazier had three losses via knockout-glass jaw as well?

 

Why do you consider his 31 knockouts in 51 fights meaningless. That's approx. a 75% knockout rate or three-fifths of his wins via knockouts..

 

All at lower weights. At 154 against poor opposition. He could not stop the walking corpse of Chavez, or Cotto, who Floyd almost KO'd.
