I think he still has power but I don't think he has the POP of David the Mule or Danny Jacobs at this weight

 

That's like saying just because Khan has been down does not mean he will go down again. I'm clearly saying history shows us facts about a fighters ability to take power shots and if GGG can take punches from Danny J and the Mule he can withstand Big Red's power unless he grows very old over the next few weeks.

Good fight just happy to see it taking place as I like both guys. Canelo can suffer a loss and still be a star where as this is a career fight for GGG at his age

Can you provide examples of when Canelo lacked speed, his footwork was faulty and his timing was off? The reason for the request is that I haven't detected these flaws and would appreciate seeing them so I can be more knowledgeable in recognizing them in the future.

As for power, I disagree that Canelo doesn't have any based on his KO record. One thing to keep in mind is that inability to KO an opponent might be related more to the fortitude of an opponent's chin than it is the puncher's power.

Keep in mind that Ali remained on his feet against Frazier during the Thriller in Manila and against Holmes not because they lacked power. So did Holyfield against Tyson's formidable attack. So one has to be very careful before reaching that lacking of power conclusion since other factors are involved.
