Probably Glove-Skin will say that he lost cuz he was trying to make the fight not boring by blocking punchies with his sturdy Kazakhstani mug. :risas3:

WOW.....You are FKN worse than a politician bro. Canelo had GGG's name in his mouth for over 18 months and still you refute facts. I like both guys but Canelo was made to look silly by Oscar and to give credit to Canelo for Khan is just as FKD up as giving GGG any credit for Special K. I will however say that at least Special K had NO HISTORY of being put on Q#*U~eer street and had a history of standing his ground.

Canelo and GGG have both used some tricks to enhance household name recondition but Canelo has always had the advantage but come this fight he only has youth and has never faced a puncher like GGG for a reason IMO

Typical of you sidelining the conversation with a bunch of nothing mumbo jumbo. Look one of your Golovkin/Euro Fan buddies made a ridiculous comment about how much Oscar is protecting Canelo, and how they avoided GGG (insinuating he was protecting him from GGG), I asked him to show me how Canelo has been protected and YOU immediately jumped in on the conversation trying to sideline it with a stupid post saying with a bunch of "what ifs".

You gave an example of WHAT IF GGG fought a WW, well guess what GENIUS, he did fight a WW LOL, and he defended all his belts!! LOL Oh ****, you can't make this **** up hahahah. Why the hell did you even bring up a WW at MW when GGG fought a WW 13 pounds north if his weightclass. Very skinless by team GGG when you consider all the trash they spoke about Canelo-Khan. LOL

I'm not spending time discussing GGG-Brook because its stupid, and because its not the point of the conversation. You and your EuroFan buddy are supporting the idea that Oscar protected Canelo by keeping him away from GGG, once again you show your clear bias and lack of boxing knowledge.

If you think the Brook fight was a last minute, desperate, sudden move to get anyone against GGG I have a bridge to sell you in San Pedro where you can make loads of money charging a toll. Loeffler is quoted as far back as April (5 months before GGG-Brook) challenging Brook to move up to fight GGG.

When the Eubanks fight fell through, Loeffler and Hearn already knew that Brook was next for GGG, it wasn't a last minute desperate move but a pre-meditated move. Who reseves the O2 arena without having an opponent.. It was always going to be Eubank or Brook.

MOVING ON to the original point, how did Oscar protect Canelo? Canelo is one of the FEW fighters who have taken on very HIGH-Risk/LOW-Reward top quality fighters, and Canelo is currently scheduled to fight the best MW since Sergio Martinez this Septmber.

You jumped into a conversation where I asked how Canelo is protected, and you have yet to give a reason how that claim holds any water.

Oscar has done a great job postponing this fight allowing Canelo to fill up the MW no just physically but also mentally feeding him some Lambs right now he's in the peak of his career the fight won't easy for neither fighter the mental edge is critical who's the mas macho favor Canelo the logic favor GGG I like Canelo via SD.

Kirkland was in no way ready for a fight with Canelo, No real training and maybe three weeks out of a crack house. He was bought in to be knocked out.

I can't find anything in relation to Kirkland being on drugs prior to the Canelo fight. What I do find is references to faulty training. Can you please provide sources for the drug usage allegations?

I don't think that he had the faintest thought of winning. He didn't get much money, he was recruited by Oscar as fodder to pad Canelo's record. Now at one time when he was on top of his game he reached out for a fight with Canelo and couldn't get it.

For a man who was supposedly throwing the fight he sure was putting up a furious effort to take Nelo's head off.

El Pollo couldn't even knock Chavez, Jr. out with his best punches and Chavez was sick and weak as hell. El Pollo could not knock Cotto out, but Pac sure did...................

I didn't say he threw the fight. I said that he was no where near ready and a shell of his former self. The outcome was a foregone conclusion without an act of god.

Dude, Kirkland had been out of the ring for 18mos in the prime of his career. He had numerous run in's with the law over weapons charges, assaulting a women, shoulder problems too. He was always arrested in a crack-den neighborhood. Turn on your brain and put two and two together.

I was at that fight and it was entertaining. They were still bringing Canelo back from his undressing and humiliation by Floyd Mayweather. His effort in that fight was as humiliating to Mexican pride as ODLH vs Tito. They needed to bring in a slugger to get KTFO and Kirkland did that perfectly.

No way was he smoking crack; however, there were issues upon issues with him changing his whole corner around weekly prior to the first weeks of camp. He had shut Wolfe out of his life and was in a bad place.

I always loved the grit from Kirkland but it was missing that night along with his very long absence from training and the sport this was a fighter set up to fail badly. I don't blame Canelo but you have to question the purity of Oscar with setting up this fight.

    Where is Kirkland now?:confundio1:

So I will assume that all this crack business is just gossip.

    BTW
All I know about Kirkland post Canelo is that he had a fight with Cotto scheduled but it had to be cancelled because someone broke Kirkland's nose in the gym during sparring.
