I agree. I'm expecting Canelo to surprise. He will surprise you with a win or surprise me with a loss lol.

I never considered you a troll. Nothing wrong with a lil trash talk here and there. You don't compare with others. There's some high quality trolls here haha.

The point you made about Canelo's stamina being suspect, is the one I'm worrying about. It's definitely suspect. If Trout win a decisions, I just hope it isn't on some love taps or slap shots. He better punch to hurt. The punches have to be effective.

So many unknowns with Canelo. He's looked beastly vs. smaller and shot competition.

That's exactly how Trout looked vs a smaller, shot Cotto.

True, but Trout has fought true JMW's and men that have competed at MW and Super MW. Can you say the same of Canelo?

And this is Canelo "stepping it up" just because Trout beat Cotto? A year ago Cotto was shot to bits and not worth a thing when Floyd beat him

Trout will give him problems with his southpaw style. Canelo is very solid but he's flat footed and doesnt fight with a lot of urgency. Trout will box and move like he did against Cotto and Canelo's gonna need to pin him down , catch him and show hes the stronger guy. I havent seen enough of either guy to make a decision but it looks like a toss up to me.

I'm with those that think Trout probably will not get a decision here!

This is one hell of a thread! :deal

Props to BBall and a lot of ya'll throwin' down some excellent discussion in here.

One of the best threads I read thru in a long ass time.

And IMO, Trout is gonna clown Canelo......just not sure about the scoring in Texas though :think

Since you're so confident and offering ban bets, if your boy loses ban yourself if canelo loses in out.Very simple

Trouts resume isn't that much more impressive. Remember that we are dealing with a 22 year old here. Trout is how old? 27 years of age and his best fight is a shot, smaller Cotto? Who else? Delvin Rodriguez? He aight.

I'm not saying that Canelo's resume is impressive either. I just don't think it's as bad as people claim. At least not for his age. The weak points on his resume is him fighting guys like Hatton, Gomez and Josesito but like I said, he was also 19,20 and 21 years of age. He's fought bigger men his whole career. He became a pro at age 15. Cintron wasn't a small guy. He was just shot as ****. Mosley win wasn't that bad also, considering his age. How many 21 year old's you know would have beat Mosley the way he did? He also fought Rhodes who was a guy who moved down from Middleweight and was a legit 154 guy. You think all this is bad for a 21-22 yr old kid? How is Trout that much better?

I guess it depends on how each person views the situation. Some are giving Trout major credit, while others are not. Some think Canelo is stepping up and you seem to think he isn't. So I don't know...

Age doesn't matter. Trout has been consistently fighting the bigger men. Fact.

His age cannot be used as an excuse. If his handlers were worried about him taking on tough competition at his young age, then he shouldn't have fought for a vacant title.

the one thing you forgot to mention is, that Trout hits like a girl!

I think Trout will win too but i am rooting for Canelo and he has the power to tell us if Trouts chin and Body is legit
