    That is the fight I wanted to see next for him. I was hoping it would not be Mosley because as you said this will not do anything for him although oddly enough people do count Mosley on Pacs and PBFs record.

    Speaking of which. Who you picking in the Trout-D-Rod match up?

    He isn't particularly fleet of hand - not slow at all, just not a blazing speed demon (which is why I think part of the justification for Forbes is prepping for dealing with what remaining hand speed Mosley has now - the 60-70% of his prime speed that's left).

    However, athleticism is a broad term embodying more than just explosive quickness even though that's the first thing most people associate with it. He's very physically strong, and able to keep throwing forceful power punches without tiring, and is fairly agile for his thickset build when it comes to things like maneuvering the ring with lateral movement.

    I'd say in every facet except for explosive speed, he ranks above average in overall athleticism. And his speed is no worse than average, maybe a bit more when throwing in combination. (where he's also very accurate and good at on-the-fly adjustment/ punch placement)

    I count Mosley on PBF's, and consider that his last gasp. (actually, his gasp death-rattled out to a sputtering moan after the first three rounds)

    Against Mora and Pacquiao, he looked like less than half the man who'd beaten Margarito not all that long before. :verysad

    The draw flatters Mora excessively, and the win (and the fact that he had Shane running from a stoppage) really flatters Pacquiao excessively. Neither of those results mean much to me at all.

    Heart = Rodriguez TKO
    Head = Trout UD

    hey douche,

    golovkin is listed at 5'10" which means he maybe 5'9" or so.

    hes a good two inches taller than canelo here. that, and take off another inch for canelos gumby haircut and you get 5'7".

    also, look at the TS photo with 5'7" forbes. they're the same height.

    you're suck canelos dick so much that you dont even remember that he used to list him at 5'10" but realized that fudging three inches just wasnt going to cut it.

    okay, douche?

    you just look dumb to everyone here professing your machismo mexican love for canelo. next to 5'10" delahoya....

    www.myboxingfans.com/2011/01/saul-canelo-alvarez/

    looks like your lover forgot his lifts. let me ask you, do you eat machismo with eggs similar to chorizo? where can i buy some of that machismo? do they sell it in stores?

    and of course "IB knows his ****." hes the one that said that you lover canelo is "little," and that "5'9" is bull****."

    did you forget in your jealous rage while defending your lift-wearing lover?

    as for you 5'11" cintron photo, where both are wearing shoes, cut off canelos 3" mohawk and you get a 5'7" little mexican guy.

    them short stumpy legs of canelo...they aint doing him no favors.

    Couple things: there is some forced perspective going on in the pic of Alvarez and Forbes together. Just a little, though. Forbes is a tiny bit closer to the camera and angled toward it more than Alvarez, so optically he appears a little bigger relative to Alvarez than he is.

    They really are about the same exact height, though. Or near enough as makes no matter...within a half an inch.

    Responding to comments on that photo on Facebook, Stevie himself - after putting in rounds of work and spending time with him at the gym - acknowledged that Alvarez is no taller than himself and short for his division...but also added that he's built like a brick **** house with a broad back and quite strong.

    agreed, canelo is wide in the upper body. it just shows how bad the 154 division is right now when a 5'7" canelo and a 5'6" cotto are your dominant champs. thinking back 30 years, i dont remember this ever happening.

    jmw champions were always 5'9" to 5'11".

    hey DOC

    that threatening private message you sent me...is that a Mexican thing or just something cinnamon lovers do? speaking of cinnamon...

    does it go well with machismo and eggs? or is it chorizo and eggs?

    and did you lover cinammon eat the machismo before he beat up 5'3" 108-pound archie solis or after??

    please explain.

    At first I was like "Forbes, WTF?!", but these are 2 very good points. That Mosley still has power there's no doubt about it, it's more of a question to neutralize that power.

    Alvarez is slated to return September 15th. Mayweather probably won't be his opponent considering Mayweather won't be scheduled to get out of jail until the end of August.
