I also dislike fighters who jump around divisions and pick paper champs or passed it fighters just for a check mark but to the casual fans it looks amazing.

I think your envy of him makes that "black mark" bigger in your mind than what it really is.

If you know anything about the sport as you claim you do, you should quickly realize that moving up in weight is not an easy task. Especially when the fighter is moving up in weight to take on a champion that is clearly bigger than him with height and reach advantages. Lets not forget that this champion is also a proven murderous puncher. That said, and seeing how you are being rather indirect about Alvarez' last fight, wasn't Kovalev leading in that fight before the KO?. I personally had it a draw going into the 11th.

If you want proper examples of a farce at work, check Golovkin's latest life and death experience against someone with 14 professional fights and a loss to Daniel "Muhammad Ali v2.0"(as Glovkin fans call him) Jacobs.

 

If the rightful decisions were given in these fights it would be GGG deciding if he wants to give Canelo a rematch, also GGG would have beaten Hopkins all time middleweight title defense record instead of just tying it. Which of coarse is in of itself legacy making.
