How can I say this?

Because he is by far the "A Side" and he'll have the fight in Vegas at a catchweight of 165, 75lb or something ridiculous that sees Ward come in like a stick of beef jerky. Ward will be a shell of himself and won't be able to sustain the pace. A slow fight will suit Canelo who will make dried-out Ward look like he's moving in slow motion. He will tattoo him all night long.

But what about a fair fight?

A proper fight at a weight that Ward can fight at, I think Ward wins. I think he's too big, too awkward and and simply too damn dirty, for a relatively clean fighter in Canelo, to beat. Ward will maul, trip, nut shot, butt and wrestle Canelo into submission. He will pot-shot and hold. Despite the fact that Canelo has a beautiful style and Ward's style of fighting is eye cancer, the fact remains that Ward is a top shelf gameplanner and he'll know what to do: impose his size on Canelo and blow a hole right through that leaky gas tank and KO him late. I'm pretty sure he could do this.

 

Yes, fighting to a draw and then winning a decision by the narrowing possible margins is what I also constitute as "destroying".
