    Well Considering Kovalev pretty much neutralised him with nothing but a fairly poor jab for 10 rounds & then looked happy to get KOd from shots that would barely wipe the sweat off ABs dome I'd say Beterbiev.. Different mindset. Bigger power. Far more tread on the tyres too.. he walks through Canelo..

    Confident pick.

    Kovalev has almost no punch resistance these days.. it's like comparing Froch to Bute.. sad to see him whimper out like that to Canelo of all people but the guys 36, he cashed out.. his choice.. it is what it is..

    Beterbiev is a different beast. Unlike Kovalev he thrives in exchanges and gets stronger as a fight goes on, not weaker. A low-volume counter-puncher like Canelo is exactly what he wants.

    I agree. Kovalev is at the Martinez Cotto stage of his career.. Beterbiev is GGG 2014

    Alvarez' trainer said it himself that they won't fight Beterbiev because "Kovalev is better than Beterbiev"... They don't want that smoke unless Beterbiev is shot.
