Canelo did in now way win that fight convincingly. One or two decent punches a round does not mean you're picking most of the rounds up.

Even most of the Canelo cards only had him winning by a round or two.

And the open scoring meant the last 4 rounds didn't play out naturally.

If someone is tapping someones face and the other person isnt doing **** then how do you score the fight for the guy doing nothing
Some people from the British did have Donaire beating Rigondeaux lol, if Alvarez outlanded Trout in every round Trout would be ktfo because Alvarez was swinging

Brian Kenny on Showtime is right, 7-5 either way type fight. Though Canelo had the KD as well.

    I had it 115-112 Canelo.

It wasn't convincing but Trout missed an awful lot, you shoudn't get points for throwing jabs and them constantly missing. Canelo was accurate and his shots were hard/

Trout even admitted he lost in his interview.

    115-114 for Trout

Alvarez was taking too much time off and where as a lot of Trout's shots were missing, so were a lot of Alvarez's.

I said Alvarez UD before the fight but honestly think he lost that, took too much time off in the majority of rounds

Canelo landed the straight right to the body, and the right uppercut whenever he threw it.

Commentators where saying Canelo was tired, I never saw it.

If you scored that fight for Trout, then you should pick a different sport to watch. It wasn't remotely close.

He's the Vitali type who always looks tired but probably isn't.

Canelo was always in control though. Trout was giving his all to win every minute of every round and Canelo wasn't doing that, which did cost him. The difference between them is that when Canelo chose to be busy, he landed flush hard shots. When Trout wanted to be busy, he'd throw 10+ punches at a time and land nothing clean.

Trout had the quantity but the quality, both offensively and defensively, was with Canelo. I don't think he ever stepped it up as much as he can either.

I agree about Canelo's fitness. I thought he was just taking it easy at times and I'm surprised the commentators though he had gassed. They were saying that as early as the 6th round or so. His inactivity was not down to any stamina issues but a strategical plan.

Canelo landed a hard punch like each minute
Trout was landing alot of jabs and Canelo took a few rounds off
I can see a close scorecard for Canelo but not as wide as some people have
Please say these arent the same people that had Donaire beating Rigo

115-112, Trout. The scoring was an absolute farce.
