I'm not exaggerating ppl feel like it has something to do with being a fan or what its reality who has Suanders even fought Lemiux and Eubank jr?
Trout arguably should have wins over at least 1 if not both Charlos ppl feel he was also in a 50/50 fight with Canelo. Has a win over Cotto in between him having a competitive fight with Mayweather and right before his run at MW calling him vastly better isn't an oversight or exaggeration

We have to look at reality Saunders has had 1 maybe 2 half way decent fights vs fighters who haven't accomplished anything either.
Canelo is fighting Champions after champion Its different levels

    We're not taking about resumes.

    We're talking about ability.

For a man of his ability, yes, Billy hasn't got a great resume. Over the last few years, he's been stuck in a vicious cycle. He hasn't had the big fight opportunities, so he's been frustrated and been inactive. And then when he's had to defend his belt or taken tune ups, he's had to drop a lot of weight, before putting in sub-par performances, as he's had no motivation. Over the past few years, he's had no sustained run of form. His career has been frustratingly stop-start. He hasn't had any consistency.

I'm not sure if you've recently seen the 3 part documentary on Tyson Fury on British TV over this last month? But in the final episode, Tyson was training to fight Wallin in Marbella with Billy. It showed you them running 8 miles up a steep, long winding road. And Billy had no top on and he looked awful. Really out of shape. Because he's not dedicated unless he's motivated with a goal. He has a lot of similarities with Tyson, and he often fights down to the level of his opponents where he just goes through the motions.

Regarding Trout, he's a very good fighter. But he's not levels above Billy. Billy is a very talented fighter. And he's shown that against the likes of John Ryder, Andy Lee and David Lemiuex.

Personally, I'd have liked to have seen Billy fight Callum Smith with the winner going on to fight Canelo. Because that would be a great fight and he'd have to get himself in shape. It would really motivate him.

I've wanted this fight for so long. But I honestly don't know what Billy has left in the tank at this stage. I think he'll have a great camp, but I don't know how sharp he'll be.

You can criticise his resume and his unprofessionalism etc, but you can't deny his talent.

You called him a chump. But you're wrong.

He's a legitimate, world class southpaw.

None so blind as those who don't want to see.

Frankly, having seen the toxic bile posted on this thread shouldn't have expected anything else.

Lemieux won a vacant title and has never beaten anyone of note and Lee was shot dudes been a fighter for years you making all these excuses about being motivated and this and that when he hasn't been trying to fight any top fighter in general. He's been doing the same as everybody else fighting bums looking like crap begging for an undeserved payday.
It's easy to look talented vs nobodies.
