I think you need high level skill and power to beat Ginger Juicer. Flashy speed isn't as important, as Golovkin showed, and to a degree Kovalev. They won rounds with their skills and power threat. You could argue Khan also won rounds with skill + speed, but he's a fast Welter and so is far zippier than anyone MW+ could ever be. So skill + power > skill + speed here, particularly due to the impossibility of winning on the cards now. That's why Saunders should trade some speed for power if he can. Listen, Billy, nobody is going to care about anything you land on Canelo: jabs, straights, hooks, uppercuts. Honestly, they won't even see them. At the end of the round it will be like they didn't happen and Canelo will be applauded for the combo he landed on your gloves and the fact he wasn't rocked.
