Chavez jr is very hittable and Canelo would not be draining down to 155. He will be stronger at 165. Canelo will rip into the body all night long

I Think Canelo wins but seriously doubt he'd KO any version of JCC Jr. Chavez still has one of thee best chins in the game, and don't be fooled by the Fonfara KO loss. Fonfara was just too big for Chavez. It's going to be a big event and a hell of a fight if it gets made.

Like I said before, he couldn't KO most of the guys I mentioned and he couldn't legit KO Angulo, and unlike most of those guys, Chavez will walk through his body shots, like they're nothing and be throwing plenty of his own, Canelo will not stop Chavez, I can almost guarantee it.

True, but chavez can take body shots extremely well and will keep putting on the pressure from the get go. This will be a tough fight for Canelo to win.

Only one way to find out. I see Chavez Jr as a bigger version of Liam Smith. Slow and plodding. But the big difference is CANELO as he will not be drained. I expect to hit much harder with much more stamina. Chavez hasn't done ish since beating Andy Lee. He barely beat Vera, got destroyed by Fonfara, and skated by in his last 2 fights against absolute nobodies.

That may be true, but you're forgetting something here, Beefy is a scrawny lanky JMW and..... Fonfara is a big LHW and Vera is a big SMW, Canelo is at best a 5'7 overweight WW, Chavez is a 6 foot tall SMW. Size matters, See for Example, Fonfara-Chavez.:deal:

Chavez is rebuilding his career right now, so fighting light touches to shake off ring rust is to be expected. Fonfara was just too big for Chavez, but the size he brings into the fight with Canelo is going to help him alot in absorbing Canelo's big punches. I just can't see Canelo getting the stoppage, but I know it will be a war!!

Who said Chavez was going to score a KD or even win? But he will give him hell and beat him his ass worst than anyone he's been in the ring with. And for the record, Canelo is not on the level of an old Maravilla, that version of Martinez would have stopped Alvarez.

My point with the KD talk was that perhaps Chavez don't crack that hard. And I disagree with Martinez stopping Canelo. But hey let's see if the fight gets made what happens. I expect Canelo to give Jr a beating!!

Still undecided about the outcome, but I lean Canelo by controversial UD. VBut a Chavez Jr victory wouldn't shock me at all.

    Lmao. Isal... please.

That you even attempt to compare Canelos situation, someone who could literally pick anyone in his divisions to fight... a fighter that calls the shots due to his stardom... and compare that with guys like Golovkin, a guy who obviously cant do that, when trying to compare their recent resumes and saying that Golovkin is milking his fans in the same manner as Canelo, is laughable and bending over backwards to defend Canelos recent resume.

Smith? You are bringing up Smith? The guy the whole boxing world knew was the weakest link of the 154 champs? Good one. Canelo could have chosen anybody in the world to fight, and he chose smith.

By the next time he fights, it will be 3 YEARS and Canelo will have had ONE top tier level fight. One. Meanwhile being a champion, and being in his prime.

Yup... totally not milking his fans. But please continue deflecting by bringing up Golovkin again.
