I hope so, I think Canelo beats him but it's a fight that should be demanded of canelo, not pushed aside because of his resume.

Canelo by UD hitting Benavidez at Will if it happens this year. Any longer and Canelo might be too slow to move out the way.

Benevidez made a statement that he feels good at 175 and he wanted to consolidate at 175. However, I think that he will come back for a Canelo fight.

 

Benavidez moving to 175 is possibly the worst decision he could have made if he was serious about fighting Canelo.

 

Hopefully they fight, and if they do I lean towards Canelo based on resumes. Canelo will be the best fighter Benavidez has fought but the opposite is not true. I see a decision win for Canelo in a decent scrap.

 

I think Benevidez wins by decision. He has so many different gears.some people on here act like Canelo beat Plant worse than David did. David beat the cr** out of Plant in the 2nd half of the fight. It would be a great match though.

 

Canelo is too high a quality and too experienced for Benavidez. I am not sure why people think he is scared. Hard puncher? Yeah but will those punches land, and a guy punching that much will get countered..

 

Benavidez by a KO or dominant UD. He is all wrong for Canelo. Can you imagine how much of a coward Clenela is to duck Benavdiez??? He got corrupt judges and refs in his pocket, and he is still scared to fight Benavdiez. Zero respect for a duck like this.
