Who wins? Stylistically, Canelo is probably an easier fight for Lemieux than GGG or Saunders.

That will be canelo's first defense when they rob GGG the second time. Book it.

Canelo would absolutely dominate him. I dont doubt Lemiux chin but he could get a referee's stoppage for sure

It would be like Angulo-Canelo, except Lemieux' chin would not hold up as much.

That would be a nice stay busy fight for Canelo with a likely highlight KO reel to add to his collection as a bonus.

Lol Lemieux is dangerous if you stay in front of him too long. But boy got a chin and upper body movement. I don't see a KO, Lemieux is no Kirkland or khan. I think canelo will play it safe and win a decision.

Lemmy's mystique is greatly diminished if not gone completely. Sure he can bang, but he is so limited in every other department that he cannot be considered a top fighter by any means.

Canelo would do the same thing to him that Golovkin and Saunders did, which is to not allow him to plant his feet within punching range. That is how you defuse his dynamite, by using movement and maintaining proper distance. David does not have the speed to close the gap effectively. An elite level opponent can pick and choose when to time him and jump in with some good shots before moving back out of range.

Prior to the Saunders fight this may not have been as glaringly apparent, but by now the blueprint to beat Lemieux has been well established.

Canelo is the 2nd best Middleweight in the division behind GGG. He knocks Lemmy out.

I rate Lemieux similar to Kirkland. Both Power punchers with devastating power. DL may (or may not) have a stronger chin, Kirkland is a hell of a lot faster and more skilled.

I've been a DL fan for a very long time, but just because I enjoy KOs I'm not going to overrate him.

Canelo would TEE off on DL who is too slow, too predictable, and too one dimensional to have success against elite fighters.

Canelo looks best when fighters stand in front of him.

Lemiuex isn't good enough to have much of a chance, he'll get outboxed.

Yeah, Rubio showed us that DL doesn't think in the ring, Alcine showed us the DL can deal with movers, GGG confirmed what Rubio showed us, and Saunders confirmed what Alcine showed us.

True, his flaws were exposed before the GGG and Saunders fights. It's more that those two shattered the illusion that Lemeiux had somehow drastically improved since the earlier losses.

Easy win for the Ginger one. His movement and punch variety far too much for Lem. Stoppage by 10th at latest
