I think Benevidez gives Canelo a good run for his money, as well as Andrade. I'm still not so sure about Jermall Charlo as of yet.
People act like he's invincible because he's flashy but he's most certainly able to be outboxed. His flat feet and poor stamina would be a big hindrance to him with that powerful Charlo jab picking away at him.
Derevyanchenko is pretty complete and would be a man to trouble Canelo for sure (although after 4 wars in a row he may be on the downslide now). Charlo did the best of anyone against Sergey, he'd give Canelo problems for sure.
Big Red has improved his foot work with the exception of when he plants them to do some powerful inside work. He is far away from doing pivots and angles but he has improved
Jermall is stylistically a very bad matchup for Canelo, I've said this for years. Both he and Andrade would beat Canelo (scorecard shenanigans aside).
Canelo walks him down, beats the ever living **** out of Jermallo and stops him with a body shot. Derevyanchenko ran him incredibly close, Korobov and Trout should have beaten him, the only thing Charlo has going for him is speed and power, which is less impressive against top tier opponents. Big Red has better defense than anyone he's fought to date, his speed is underrated and his timing is immaculate, and his power is better than Derevyanchenko's, who hurt Charlo a few times. Charlo will walk into counter after counter, until eventually he goes down in a heap.
Are they both going to fight each other? If so, Jamall will have a great risk of getting beaten for the first time in his life. Canelo is the king of gifted decision.
