Embarrassing one sided cakewalk for Canelo.

Canelo would beat the crap out of him. Brook was complete and solid fighter at 147 and 154 but this wasn't enough.

It 154 I'd give Brook a decent chance. Canelo's gassing problem was a major issue for him at 154 and Brook can go hard all the trime.

    Agreed.Especially at 154lb.

Kell got broken by GGG at 160lb but gave a good account of himself.

Canelo that fought Maywether, drained and without any magical Mexican beef, gets smashed by Kell. IMHO

    154lb was Kell's natural weight.

He waited years too long for Amir Khan and stayed at 147lbs when he should have moved up around 2015 or 2016 instead.

brook putting it on ggg was great
    but the outcome was inevitable
brook should fight eubank ar 160 and retire
brook stepping up when eubank refused shortend / aged his career
eubank still mentions ggg whilst fighting waink opposition

    Canelo wins via robbery

I can tell you how this goes from start to finish..

Canelo breaks both Brooks eye sockets inside 2 rounds, drops Brook multiple times then knocks Brook spark out in the 5th and Brook stays spark out for several minutes.

Eddie Hearn then comes out and says "Brook was winning the fight on the cards", "Brook was up at 8" and the classic "We have a rematch clause...."

Canelo, despite weight bullying, had close fight with Trout at 154. He lost 8-4 against Lara and disgracefully robbed him. Not saying Brook would win but this would no doubt be competitive and not one sided.

Brook was never all that... After beating Porter should really have kicked on and now its a case of what might have been.
Canelos one flow is his gas tank and that's the same with Brook, except Brook was pretty upright, didn't move his head much and was kina cought in between weight classes. At 154 it's an easy Canelo win.

The difference between Canelo running from GGG and Lara running from Canelo is that Lara clearly outlanded Canelo whereas Canelo clearly got outlanded by GGG. Accept your boy has got 3 gifts

A few angles to this one:-

    • Brook was more or less a career 147 - even though he probably should have moved to 154 before going to 160 to fight GGG
    • Canelo is a VERY different fighter after his 2 wars with GGG
The Canelo after GGG is a different beast IMO, the Canelo that scraped by Lara and Trout would be a competetive fight against Brook, but given Brook didn't fight much at 154 i'd have to favour Alvarez even then.

The Canelo that beat/lost to Trout would beat Brook.
