Canelo Alvarez vs Mairis Briedis

I dont think Canelo can beat Breides tbh. That would be pushing it a little too far IMO.

 

Big cruiserweights don't drain themselves to 190lbs.

The issue when asking questions about Canelo is the lack of considering stupulations. At 190, yeah Briedis may lose because he would be compromised.

Maybe its just rumors, but which is why mention category 190 lbs?

Not so sure Briedis could even make 190 but if they were to actually fight at CW (200), I wouldn't give Canelo much of a chance. It's one thing to beat an old Kovalev at 175 and another thing to jump another 25 pounds and beat a proven champ like Briedis.

At 200 pounds limit its a good fight Canelo can weigh what he wants but don’t drain a world champion. If all is fair I favor Briedis.

 

I don't think the idiots that created that useless turd of a weightclass have any authority to make such a change.
