Canelo Alvarez vs Terry Norris at 154 pounds

Would be similar to Canelo fight with Amir Khan. Norris speed give Canelo problems
before Canelo counter right ko Norris mid rds.

 

Norris had the speed and boxing ability to outbox Canelo in spurts, but he was never the best defender and his chin couldn't be relied on. Even against a LMW Canelo who didn't fully develop yet I think Canelo would eventually catch Norris with a good right hand shot to a stoppage.

 

This seems like the most likely outcome, but I could almost just as easily see Norris sticking-and-moving his way to victory.

 

This, I think. Norris was a terrific fighter but I just don't think he was as durable as Canelo. Canelo will have his moments, as he always does, and there will come a moment when the Mexican tank keeps rumbling ahead and Norris crumbles. I reckon Alvarez stops him in the second half of the fight somewhere.

I think Norris is looking great until he ****s up and gets tagged.

Norris at his best would run rings around the slow footed Canelo.

The Norris of the 2nd Brown fight who used constant movement firing off rapid combinations wins a decision.

But I wouldn't bet on it given that Norris has a below average chin and a suspect temperament.

 

The problem I have is Norris has a pretty bad chin.
He has all the skills and speed to beat Canelo but he always has that chance of getting caught.
But I'm not so sure Canelo could take Terry's offense as Terry was fast and hit pretty hard.
If I had to pick I would favor Norris

 

I agree with everyone that Norris could get knocked out, he sometimes was overly aggressive and got caught. If he is at his very best and sticks to the game plan he wins by unanimous decision.

And for the dude earlier who was saying that Canelo is stronger than Norris all I can say is LOL LOL you don't know much about Terry Norris.

 

Brown wasn't anywhere near Canelo's level in size or skill.
