So you assume Hagler knocks out a elite middle weight that has never been close to been hurt, right?

Canelo was hurt by Cotto and GGG buzzed him badly in the rematch in the 10th round.

I'm surprised nobody picked him over Leonard. That's his best bet surely? Good pressure, great body-attack, good at finding a third punch, Leonard is way past prime...that's his best bet IMO.

The Duran that edged Barkley would be a tougher match for him I reckon, but i'd pick him to sneak that. The Duran that pushed Hagler would lose another very close decision.

I think Hearns would out-box him reasonably cleanly (maybe even cleanly enough to actually get a decision...) and Hagler would beat him up a bit late on.

At middleweight he beats both SRL and Duran as both are past prime. Hagler wears him down and wins a close decision and Hearns a clearer decision. I can never rule out a Tommy KO but equally Canello can stop Hearns if he gets too careless.

Each time I watch Duran vs Hagler I think Hagler went 85%. He was in control the whole fight. Duran was not gonna come close to hurting him. He seemed to just punish Roberto each time Duran scored something.
Canelo at 160 is better than Duran though. 160 Canelo is a fukn ox. Hagler isnt pushing him around or knocking him out. I agree with you there.

    He beats Duran and Leonard.

Hearns would box his way to a decision or a KO.
Canelo can also KO Hearns. No way he can out box Hearns.

Hagler what a war it would be.

All of them. Whether you like it or not Canelo is an exceptionally gifted fighter. Just because you're comparing him to fighters from the Golden Era of Boxing doesn't mean he will not win. Hagler and Hearns would be his toughest challenges however I see a solid point decision win over both.

GGG would struggle with all 4 however due to his lack of head movement after throwing and slow feet.

Some of the comments here are unbelievable.
Specially the one above mine claiming ginger would beat all 4.

Since we’re using imagination here, I’ll assume all 4 would be in their prime at MW, in which case he beats Duran at best.

I think he gave Duran too much respect tbh, he seemed overly cautious and against a LW, and with Hagler's chin I'm still baffled as to why

Lol the 2013 version of Mayweather beats Marvin Hagler? Clown.

You say Canelo being an exceptional talent like Hagler, Hearns, Leonard and Duran weren't
