    So i just rewatched all these fights and i have Canelo 0-2-2 overall, I'm not Canelo's biggest fan but i scored all of these fights fairly with no biased scoring.

    I thought he lost clear to GGG twice ( I actually think the second one was wider than the first) but the lara and trout fights I think the right man won.. Lara was too negative you can't win a fight like that..

    I think all the fights apart from Golovkin 1, which for me was a competitive but clear win for Golovkin. All the others fights could go either way.

    That's the way I had them too. At the end of the day, 1 or 2 rounds in a close fight could easily swing another way depending how the judges see it. A fight outcome can't really be controversial if it could be argued for either fighter.

    The thing with Canelo is in all his close fights, normally his opponents land more punches than him overall. But Canelo normally lands the eye catching hard/solid punches in alot of the rounds, so I guess overall it depends what you like when scoring a fight.

    I feel the same way about the first 2 Golovkin fights. Second was more definitive to me. But here’s the problem. People buy into storylines rather than just scoring the fight. What you hear from so many Canelo fans is that he “took it to Golovkin Mexican style like people wanted”. Yea and? That has nothing to do with scoring. Golovkin outboxed him clear as day. Lara was a draw and I think he beat Trout. But Golovkin was clearly the better boxer in the first 2 fights.

    Been so long but only fights Ive scored against Canelo are Bivol, Golovkin 1 and Mayweather.

    Also didnt see the Trout fight.

    Had him beating Lara, G2, and G3.

    But been a long time... could do with some rescoring.

    Its due to the ridiculous cards and everything going his way

    Lara fight could go either way but a judge gave canelo 9 rounds...

    Trout fight could go either way buy you have a 118-109 scorecard... even the 116-111 card is ridiculous imo.

    Golovkin 1 has the famous adalaide byrd card.

    Also the idiotic cj ross card vs floyd.

    Your scorecards are good and reasonable

    Yeah I agree there certainly has been some ridiculous scorecards in Canelo's close fights, let's not forget the 114-114 in Mayweather fight. I also thought 115-113 scorecards in Bivol fight were highly dubious aswell, I saw Canelo win no more than 3 rounds in that fight.

    I think I had Lara winning by a point, but he was so negative I'm not surprised Nelo got the nod.
    Trout I had Canelo by a point I think.
    GGG 1 and 2 I had both for GGG, and the 2nd to me was clearer, he started very slow in the first, and boxed & jabbed beautifully in the 2nd. Think I had it 116-112 in the first and 117-111 in the 2nd.

    Although it didn't affect the outcome in the end, I also feel it was almost as egregious that Canelo v Bivol was scored 115-113 x3. I mean WTF? One round flipped to Canelo and he gets a draw? GTFO!

    But let's face it that's what being the cash-cow AAA side gets you!
