Walcott lost to about 13 guys and some of them aren't much heavier than Canelo. Can Canelo with his evolutionary advantages beat Walcott or is this still a mismatch ?

Very little you post is "realistic".

Walcott took Marciano thirteen rounds, before succumbing to the Suzie Q.

    Canelo loses this. Badly.

Walcott and his rhythm interrupting style would give canelo more fits than the guys like Lara did.

Honestly it wouldn’t surprise me if Walcott managed to lose this. I wouldn’t bet on it but I probably wouldn’t bet on most Walcott matchups either. Dude is an inconsistent wild card.

Canelo must be heavily favored in this one but Walcott might get lucky. Boxing is a strange sport.

It’s hard to favor Canelo over Walcott or any top heavyweight, since every time he’s had a chance to fight over 175 lbs he’s found ways to sabotage the fight, so it doesn’t happen, which tells me he isn’t confident fighting over 175 lbs.

He had opportunities to fight Makabu, Badu Jack, and Opetaia and each time he wanted a ridiculous catch weight of 180 lbs.

So are you saying he wouldn’t want to fight a 196 pound Walcott?

An absolutely leaden footed Canelo was getting out-jabbed and outboxed by a shot Kovalev. Canelo has nothing for Walcott at his best.
