Canelo would create a 153lb division.

I think Davie Moore would beat the **** out of Canelo.

There isn't much of a similarity, but that's irrelevant anyway, as Duran would use those same tactics with impunity vs Canelo.

Duran would beat him quite handily.

Canelo would have his hands full with Davey Moore.

I think Canelo very well might have exposed Davey Moore as violently as Duran did.

Duran clearly never possessed enough power at 154 to topple over Canelo, even with a decent amount of accumulation in his favour.

Canelo, so far in his career, has shown a granite chin...

I disagree. The Duran of the Moore fight could drop Canelo if he throw combinations. The older version was only 5lbs heavier dropped Barkley and I think Barkley is a much bigger challenge than Canelo would be.

Nah, no way. He doesn't have the power to drop Canelo, who has thus far showed a granite chin in his career. Barkley was a crude swinger with fairly limited ability, and all he has over Canelo is strength and size, nothing else.

And because Barkley is bigger, it doesn't equate to him having a better chin than Canelo.

Yeah, seems like a few of the more hardcore Duran fans here seriously overrate Barkley (and Moore) and underestimate Canelo and (especially) Golovkin.

I'm a massive Duran fan, though not biased.

Barkley was a monster, a bit crude, could punch bit, but not as good overall as Canelo.

Props for your objectivity! I admire Duran a great deal too and often praise him to my friends who only watch contemporary fights, but I disagree with a lot of the hyperbole that I read about him in this forum.
