    There is another thread talking about the worst time that you people have spent as a boxing fan. I said vargas vs de la hoya, but another guy right after me told that the worst time was right now, watching the fights not happening or happening with freaking empty arenas. And then I realized that I should have said that too.

    It's pretty obvious that boxing is suffering right now.

    Because of the 5 belts per division, ABC's favoring particular fighters or promotional entities, and the always rampant overnight weight gain w/ some, P4P has lost any kind of merit. Not to mention the criteria regarded that no one can agree on. Biggest misconception about the P4P list is that a lot posters seem to believe it has some form of merit. It doesn't, since it's a mythological, multiple and inconsistent criteria based reference that won't even include HW's for the most part.
