Canelo and Crawford should not be in top 10 pound for pound list.

Needed 155 to make big fights w/ Lara, Angulo and Kirkland? Lara was a beltholder 154 FFS... what was the point in that extra pound??

dude Lara was a fake champ the title he had Canelo already fought Mayweather for. In a non title fight 1lb is allowed fighting at 155 or 148 or 161 ain’t creating a new division is just some bs made up by cry baby GGG fans because they wanted Canelo to do something that GGG has yet to do which is take a challenge and move up in weight

 You are trying to justify two guys w/ belts at 154 fighting one pound over the limit. What was the point of that?? It's just dumb, and you can admit that w/o being 'less a fan' if that's what you are worried about.

This has nothing to do with 3G jackass. Who gives a damn about moving up in weight? What, you are impressed when a guy moves up and targets the worst beltholder?? And you think that's about taking a challenge?!?!

Canelo didn't have a 154 lb belt when he fought Lara. I don't think anyone's trying to justify it. You keep bringing it up. As to why they didn't fight for a title, Floyd was the title holder, Lara was only interim champ.

I thought he lost the GGG fights but I don’t know how you can look at Canelo and not consider him one of the top ten fighters in the sport.

You were right about that. Still no reason for it to be at 155. Non-title fight or not. My guess was Canelo was simply having trouble w/ the weight. He entered the ring at 171 while Lara came in at 166.

Considering that no one anywhere has ever had an issue with 1lb in a non title fight until Canelo you tell me what the problem is??
Ain’t got nothing to do with being a fanboy or whatever you want to call it. Dude had a non title fight vs other ranked contenders and came in at 154.5/155 that’s not making a new weight class or a catchweight fight.

with regards to Canelo he moved up to fight GGG, Fielding, & Kovalev outside of Rocky who was a bottom 5-10 title holder GGG was the #1 champ and Kovalev was the #2 champ more fighters should take on comp like Canelo maybe then we’d have better fights

We have weight classes. What was the point of 155?

About Canelo at 175, he's not even staying there is he? He went for the most vulnerable belt holder for a title grab. That's not exactly a huge challenge. Jumping up just to collect a belt from the easiest to beat beltholder is a good thing to you?
