WBC will just make Canelo super champ and GGG regular champ and move on......Maybe they fight down the line but not this year no way
"I will fight at 154 for a big ppv fight"-bumluvscans big ppv fight emerges "nope not do that...I don't like it" -his fans stand behind him staunchly-.....thus the tomato squad lives on
Nah, I doubt it. WBC has faith in GBP (which they shouldn't). It'll bite them in the butt when they have to strip them.
damn, a MEXICAN chicken sandwich? everyone knows those taste much more cowardly than an american or european chicken sandwich. this guy must be really "yella"... like canary yella.
I think comes off in the fall, but dude can you reasonably explain how a guy who's never fought at 160 is scared because they haven't fought at 160 yet?
It's more like he holds the 160 title and refuses to fight at 160. It's yet to be seen if he does since he hasn't announced his opponent. Word is he's pulling up a JMW to canelo-weight which tells me he doesn't want to prepare for a MW fight w/ Golovkin.
Doesn't he actually have to defend the title or not for him to refuse something? People talk like he's been Champ for 2 yrs and not 2mths, and lol at the Canelo weight a non title fight 1lb above weight is suddenly dragging someone up when did that start. I've never heard of a WW being dragged up by fighting another WW at 148 or a MW fighting a MW at 161.
Im struggling to believe they will fight this year or at all. GBP just straight up dont want it and ive seen this happening before with other fighters and the end result was they didnt fight till it was too late to mean anything.
Maybe, but as you can see from Alvarez's fans on here, Golovkin will be considered as the one avoiding the fight if he doesn't accept the 155 catchweight. People tend to rationalize things in a way that suits them and I doubt that Alvarez will lose that many fans for not fighting Golovkin unless Golovkin agrees to all of Alvarez's conditions and Alvarez still refuses to fight him.
