Canelo and GGG will not fight this year

This is all Karma. Bumlovkin refused to fight Ward @ 168 and now Canelo refuses to fight the Lower Case G @ 160. What goes around comes around...

Canelo is playing this GGG situation very intelligently. Even tho I dislike the 155 demand, it is keeping him safe. Golovkin OBVIOUSLY has a problem draining down to 155 to fight a guy that will come in over 175 on fight night.

Canelo gets to claim "im the champ its my weight buddy" and most of his fans will buy it. If GGG cant make 155 he HAS to offer 157 and no less to make the fight happen. If GGG offers 157 and Canelo declines than GGG can at least say he tried to make the fight happen.

I dont see the fight happening this year especially if Canelo doesnt budge at all from his 155 demand. Lets see what the WBC will do come sept. Will they strip Canelo or will they strip GGG for "rejecting a title fight offer" at 155 lbs. I wouldnt be surprised to see GGG stripped for declining a 155 offer. I prefer to see Golovkin getting stripped of his interim title than seeing him getting stopped by draining down to 155.

 

If GGG cant get the Canelo fight in late 2016 he has two options.

1. Stay at 160 and fight whoever he can. His buzz will decline as the oppostion will be weak.

2. Move up to 168, fight bigger dudes. Fight Groves in UK, Bute in Canada, Abraham in Germany. Retire.

 

this is the worst part of about these guys....they cry the wbc belt is for 160 lbs....they cry "mando"...they say "this is the pwssification of boxing"

without canelo in the picture there is nothing for ggg...except taking the wbc belt and fighting guys nobody cares about and no one will give him credit for....accept that, while you think ggg is a god and superstar because hbo said so, he is less than canelo when it comes to selling.....

canelo could just as easily be campaigning at 154...if he can make 155 he can make 154......and thered be nothing for ggg...except fights with heiland and Johnson.....
