    Makabu can punch but his speed, skill and lack of size are actually assets for him at CW against the bigger slower mini behemoths.

    He's tough but he gets hurt a lot and in all his fights against opponents with a pulse since getting iced out cold by Bellew have been competitive/very competitive or razor-close.

    The Papin fight was close and the Russian would definitely have beaten him with a little more experience under his belt and the Cieslak fight was razor-close and shrouded in controversy.

    Cieslak gave him a free KD too after turning away for some strange reason (can't remember why he did so now but was it because he thought it was the end of the round or something?) and getting clobbered with big shots. That was pivotal

    Look I'm no fan of Ginger nuts but he's in interesting fights and this is another interesting fight. So many fighters hardly ever fight and if they do its dull dull dull.

    I;m talking about Avni Yildirim, Callum Smith, Rocky Fielding, Liam Smith and a lot of other guys who you conveniently failed to mention. now he is skipping over Bivol, Beterbiev and a number of other guys to fight the worst guy with a belt. Just like he has always done.
