Nice to see he will stay active, now hopefully we continue to see him against good competition like Miguel Cotto, winner of Trout-Lara, Molina and even Ortiz if he manages to make himself relevant again.

thats a fight canelo and the gbp judges are going to win.

alvarez and molina will both throw 500 punches, theyll both land 30 percent of their punches and there will be no knockdowns or point deductions

and canelo will win a wide UD of 117-111, 118-110 and 116-112 becasue of his "ring generalship" and his more "powerful" punches even though their faces will look exactly the same at the end of the fight.

Nobody cares about the opie fighting anymore, him and guerrero embarrassed themselves with their horrible performance against Mayweather.

here in mexico the bar that i was in was packed. around the seventh round it got bad enough where people went outside to smoke, started texting messages, laughing in completely seperate conversations on thier cell phones or in their groups that had nothing to do with the fight and novios started affectionately disregarding the over-hyped redhead.

canelo wouldve been better off to go balls out, gas and then get kod

    instead, he did nothing

    it was quite sad

@Quincy K, i knew Canelo didn't have a Mexican Heart. He would rather lose badly and say he went the distance with Mayweather and not risk getting tko'ed.

if he's against a no name fighter without a large following, it won't sell.

If he fights Cotto i would buy for sure but other then that no, Still though all the Canelo hate is ridiculous, i actually think Canelo was like a deer in the headlights vs Floyd, he is still going to be a quality fighter trust me he is 23 and outside of floyd i think he beats everyone at 154. Also don't think he still aint going to be a big star maybe he will suffer in the long term but in 2 or 3 years he will be a major ppv star.
