Canelo beats Jacobs = rigged / declined Jacobs / controversial

GGG beats Jacobs = no controversy/ master class

Difference here is one actually beat Jacobs and the other got a Jacobs going through the motion not trying to win!!

Jacobs was called a nobody when GGG beat him. Now the Canelo apologists call Jacobs elite.

    Yes and no.

The wins occurred in different contexts.

Golovkin was supposed to stop Jacobs (meaning that was the popular perception at the time) and many had that fight razor close.

Canelo fought a Jacobs that had higher stock than the one Golovkin fought (due to the Golovkin and SD performances) and imo beat him more clearly.

So to me, while I understand your perception of it, its an understandable difference due to the contexts...

Not saying I agree with it by the way. Just saying I understand where its coming from.

No, how about this, GGG beat Jacobs, coming off of destroying Quillin in a round, and beats him 7-5 plus a KD. GGG's overrated, a joke and a hack.

Canelo arguably loses to a Jacobs who's struggling badly to make weight, coming off of two questionable decision wins over Derevyanchenko and Sulecki, and that's with the KD's Danny scored, and is seen as being in slight decline in his last three post GGG matches.

    Canelo is an ATG!!!!!

Get the **** out of here with this bull****.

If you can't see the bias at work, you're blind.

Man im just talking against the hate in here .simple as that this forum worships GGG as if he's a god. They call close fights "robberies " and get their feelings up in a bunch

There was no controversy, most thought he beat Jacobs, Jacobs got points for surviving Golovkin and not getting knocked out.
