Im seeing Floyd sweeping this fight. If Canelo had problems with Trout, you better ****ing believe he will have problems with Pretty Boy.

Yea that is another good point. I paid 60 bucks for that fight and felt robbed. I can't imagine how the 50,000 fans who paid 1g on average to watch the fight live felt. I remember how loud the boo's were, surprised floyd got out of there alive.lol He definitely robbed alot of people that night aside from Ortiz.

I probably don't rate Mayweather as high as you.

The way I look at it is like this: We already know by those closest to Floyd that he doesn't put himself in a situation where he risks losing (***** move imo)

We can look at how Jose Luis Castillo who imo is less talented than Alvarez gave him fits with his size and pressure.

We also saw how a past prime, part time fighter Oscar gave Floyd problems and had Floyd more tenative than he already is. (Excuse by *****s was that Oscar was so much bigger) :deal

We see how a shot Cotto busted Floyd up pretty good.

We factor in that he avoided a prime Cotto, Williams, Maragrito, and a prime Mosley, likely because he saw a possibility in losing his 0.

His last fight he looked damn impressive... against a lightweight, his fight before with Cotto he looked okay considering it was a shot Cotto.

There's a reason why the fight is at 152, and not 154 like when he fought DLH and Cotto. Ask yourself what does Floyd fear?

I also believe Floyd was cornered to take this fight by Shotime and GBP, his bosses.

I give Alvarez a very good shot at beating Mayweather who imo is the best fighter now, but he isn't on another crazy level.

Trout is a huge 154 fighter and throws a million more punches than Mr. Pot-shot.

If Mayweather had problems with a SOT Cotto, you better believe he will have problems with the younger, stronger, faster, prime Ginger. :deal

The difference is that Cotto had a better jab Cotto throws more punches and PBF stood his ground had a point to prove with Cotto and didn't use movement. Against Canelo he will use movement and control the distance and tempo. PBF won't allow Canelo to bully him he will fight on the outside using his superior reach reflexes and hand speed to get off first and be gone, while tiring out Canelo in the process. Canelo can't beat PBF if he fights that way, no one in the sport can.:deal

I think if he improves his stamina dramtically he has a great shot.

Maybe Canelo can crack Mayweather's ribs like Castillo did early on.

    Canelo is the better fighter.

Floyd is a far superior boxer.

Smarts and timing will always win...unless you get caught.

This Alverez **** has gone far enough. Alverez is nothing special at the moment and this absurd need to hurry his career may potentially end it prematurely. I blame much of the politics in boxing for this and now he's about to become a sacrificial lamb come september. There will be a lot of wishful thinking mexican's come that day

This is my take. Canelo has youth and size going for him the night of the fight. Mayweather has experience, great defense, speed and stamina going for him.

Canelo's last fight left me wondering if the could hang with a fast, defensive fighter that likes to counter like Floyd does. The only way I see Canelo winning is to somehow corner Floyd and land several hard shots to slow him down and finish him off. If he can't to do that, he loses by UD.

I don't like Mayweather in the least, but I have to give him respect for what he does best=======avoid shots, pot shot and make his opponent look bad while racking up rounds on the scorecard.
