Charlo came to survive and he saw the final bell which was somehow a moral win for himself.

Ryder got beat up pretty bad and literally said after the fight that Canelo was aging since Canelo couldn't stop him...again, moral victory...

Youll see a whole different Benavidez if they fight and, afterward, youll say the win wasnt impressive...the same way people detract Crawford thumping of Spence

Benevidez has more reach than GGG had and is far bigger and more powerful than GGG was.

I think Canelo won't fight Benevidez as he's pulling the biggest duck since Bowe avoided Lewis.

What? Youre showing a significant lack of boxing knowledge or bias. GGG was FAR MORE powerful - not even close.

Maybe because Kovalev was far more experienced than David is and knew what the counter hook could do....

The best thing about this fight is Canelos stalling tactics are now making it worse for him.

Every fight Benavidez gets better, bigger and closer to his prime.

He's gonna run through Canelo like a knife through butter.

No, Benevidez is a natural light heavy who trains down.

You are showing what a casual you are. David is much bigger than GGG, and you can hear the power on every punch he throws. The best fighter GGG ever stopped was Lemiuex and it took him 9 rounds. He is overrated in general. You showed a clip of Benavidez eating a few upper cuts from Andrade, so what, Canelo got lit up by Ryder. Every fighter gets hit a few times.

I wish Canelo had your confidence. Unfortunately, I think he’ll continue to pretend like Benavidez isn’t worthy enough. Canelo’s diva-like behavior is the reason why Mexican legends like Barrera, Marquez, and who knows how many others, are pulling for Benavidez to beat him.

Benavidez getting hit by Andrade has nothing to do with his power as compared to GGG. Dont know why you bunch those ideas together.

GGG hurt every opponent he fought except for Canelo...and even that is debatable. GGG was not Wilder of MW. GGG beat Canelo in 1st fight (and arguably 2nd...or at least a draw), beat Jacobs, and had extremely poor luck as Pirog was hurt in camp and forced to retire, and Sergio ducked him. Cotto also ducked him.

GGG had a much better offensive arsenal than Benavidez and his offense never left himself gaping open for counters. GGG would of battered Benavidez even at 168.

This is all theory on how Benavides will do. All I know is Benavides is a better fight than Charlo, shot GGG, Plant, Ryder, and the suppose Munguia match.

This fights needs to happen asap!!!! I too think that this fight won’t be as competitive as people think.

David’s best chance to win is to either come in like Bivol, which he doesn’t have the footwork to do, or come in like Kirkland, which is more likely, but still not his style. I just don’t see how his come-forward plodding and winging shots will be effective against someone with elite defense and head movement, and even worse if Canelo puts him on the back foot.

Charlo is obviously a smaller fighter, but I still smile when I think of what he said before his fight with Canelo, and I’m only slightly paraphrasing, “I’m not gonna let him back me up like he did Plant.” Canelo might be small in stature, but dude is a tank. So David might be a big boy, but Canelo is right there with him, and I think David will be surprised how big he is in the ring.

I’d really like to see Cinnabunz win by body shot ko.

GGG was an aggressive stalker, but he wasn't really really a pressure fighter in the way that Benavidez is. He didn't have the same workrate, speed, nor stamina that DB has.

GGG fought at a somewhat measured pace, and Canelo exploited this and fooled the judges into scoring moments of inactivity in his favor.

Canelo will not have that luxury against Benavidez. The kid is going to hurt him bad. It will not be pretty.

Benavidez is much scarier than GGG ever was and more punishing in the ring. In the last fight before he fought Canelo, GGG had a very close decision victory over Jacob, who is no better a fighter than Andrade and Plant. Benavidez has beat up literally everyone he has ever stepped in the ring with. This is building up like Ali vs Foreman imo.
