Lemieux is as one dimensional as they come. Of course GGG looked impressive, and to GGGs credit he has a nice little jab that works well against a fighter that only knows how to hop forward in a stright line who uses no jab himself.

Lemieux and Canelo are nothing a like, nothing.

Hand Speed, defense, overall skills such as feints, head and waist movement, counter punching, experience against durable top notch opposition.

    Hope that helps :good

Hand speed doesn't really mean that much against an iron chinned well schooled fighter with timing.

My ****ysis of each fighter is not irrational. I see Canelo's weaknesses as much as I see GGGs. I don't think Canelo is unbeatable, and I don't think GGG is unbeatable.

I see this fight as being almost 50/50 with each guy bringing their best.

May the best man win, its just my opinion that Canelo has the edge on most categories.

Btw, I like Golovkin, and his style. I've been to a Golovkin fight and have supported him many times.

Someone should have told Hagler that when he fought Leonard... :yep :deal

But I understand the point you're making. What you need to factor in is that Canelo will not be chasing GGG around, nor will he be fighting off the back foot, he will use his head and waist movement to slip punches, and will wait to counter as he does BEST.

If you want to see how good Canelo's defense is, watch his fight with Trout. That's when the term "Slick and White" came into the forum scene. :deal

Tomato Can and Bum are boxing terms. They have been part of boxing since before any one of us was born. It is what it is.

Leonard waited until Hagler had been ruined by Hearns and Mugabi. He won't even deny that.

But the point is. GGG has nothing to worry about when it comes to hand speed. Just cut the ring off and time him. GGG is too accurate to be thrown off by Canelo's movement.

I don't know what you'e talking about here.

This is a fight where GGG won't have to employ his ring cutting skills because Canelo does not fight off the back foot. Canelo is a COUNTER PUNCHER. He invites his opponents to come to him and uses their agressiveness against them by countering them as they come in and throw.

It should be a tough fight for both and anyone saying anything different dksab.

Canelo cannot counter GGG. He can't just sit back, relax and freely and easily counter GGG. Golovkin's power will make Canelo shell up. Not open and loose to counter.

Paying money to see another man bash another mans head in is what?

Don't come here with that self-righteous shid, seriously. The point of this sport is to entertain us by having two men almost kill each other for money.

You want to get all sensitive, don't watch this sport.

Completely agree. But some people on here are in love with the amateur point scoring style BS.

**** all that noise. Destroy people.
