Canelo clearly won Round 1, Bivol had most of his shots blocked, his best shots were probably a right hand to the body and a jab in the last minute. Canelo on the other hand controlled the whole round, he was the aggressor, Bivol was up against the ropes several times covering up being roughed up and that uppercut at the end was fanatstic.

 

Q was very unsure of himself, he asked me for help and I obliged.

 

I gave Alvarez round 1, I agree with your assessment but my friend watching the fight with me gave round 1 to Saul.
