Canelo Bivol rounds 1-4 - "close fight" comprehensively debunked debunked

Bivol did sort of block it with his forearm, I agree, however he didn't get all of it, the punch still conncected to the shoulder.

 

Relax. I don’t know what his point is, let him explain. Also just because I don’t agree with one point doesn’t mean he’s completely wrong.

I’m just a little confused on what the point of that clip was? What is your argument? I can’t tell if the jab landed or not it could have slightly landed on the forehead or been blocked on the gloves, but forearms or shoulders that’s not a scoring shot.

 

So, just for the record. We've now established the following:

1. Shadow doesn't understand how rounds are scored
2. Shadow doesn't understand the difference between punches landed and punches blocked
3. Shadow doesn't understand PED's or how they're administered in modern sport

Q disagrees with me about the jab. He claimed it didn't land, I claimed it landed. You're "not sure" but say it could have slightly landed. OK fair enough, but do you have any problem with me counting that as a jab? It appeared to bounce off his forehead and it certainly caused Bivol to react and it backed him up.

 

This is what I'm talking about Shadow.....your reframing what is actually there by over stating the jab by saying it bounced of his head and Bivol reacting and moving back from it..
That isn't what I'm seeing the jab lands(it's like a range finder that barely lands rather than having anything on it) but Bivol is leaning back and steps back as Canelo loads up. That is just a jab that does nothing and what about the rest of the round? or is your framing to try and get a gotcha with Q on one punch therefore you must be right about everything overall. That's a semantic followed by a fallacy.

 

I wouldn’t get mad but it’s not a land that racks up a lot of points even if it did land. Personally I wouldn’t count it but I wouldn’t be furious if you countered it as a slight glancing range finding/set up jab because I can’t tell if it landed.

 

Hmm. I think he just wants an unbiased opinion. You guys are pouncing on him like a group of hungry hyenas. I don’t agree with him on this point, interested to see what other clips he’s going to post.
