Canelo Bivol rounds 1-4 - "close fight" comprehensively debunked debunked

This is what we looked at earlier from the overhead camera, the one where you said "Tbh it’s hard to see if that jab lands." You said you wouldn't be mad if I counted that because you weren't sure. I referred to the overhead camera because we can't see how it landed on the DAZN camera angle.

I noted that there were dueling jabs here, both threw jabs at the same time. So I was not only counting Canelo's jab here, I was also counting Bivol's. Q did not mention either of these punches in his summary so I added them while watching from the overhead camera.

I took a closer look at this one from the DAZN camera. I can see why you would think Canelo's jab missed. Watching it in real time it looks like it may have missed. But lets slow it down :

Watch closely. It didn't land flush or anything, but it wasn't blocked and in slow mo it can be seen landing to the side of Bivol's head. We don't have the best camera angles here. This wasn't an attempt to give Canelo more credit than Bivol. I was just pointing out that both fighter's landed jabs at the same time which Q did not mention in his summary. It looks to me like Canelo's jab hits him right on the side of the temple. But I could see why people would think this missed while watching it in real-time.
