What? I'm not remotely emotional, the humour in my posts should make that obvious

If I was emotional you'd know all about it because when I Iose my poop entire civilizations and cites get obliterated

Clenelo is a fully-fleged 168 pounder now who turned pro long ago when the only ale he was allowed to drink by law was ginger ale. Bivol is a small 175 pounder who weighed 3-5lbs max more than him

And it is the biggest win in a long time. Clenelo is the biggest star in the sport, was the P4P king, and he hadn't officially lost since 2013. Biggest and best are two different things

You didn't answer my question. How much do you think Bivol deserves for the rematch?

right… Bivol made 500k in his very next fight so offering him 2-5mil is more than deserving. You can’t complain that fighters who are already making more than you got paid more.
Your comment tho is really what’s wrong with a lot of these fighters guys be more jealous of other fighters and not happy with what they doing. Caleb plant getting 10mil or whatever doesn’t matter, can’t be pocket watching everybody else turning down career highs because it’s not as high as somebody else got.

    What nonsense.

Bivol beat Canelo, he's the A Side, he's already a multi millionaire.

Canelo making monetary demands isn't gonna wash here.

Bivol agreed to all of Canelo’s demands in the first fight and deserves a payday. Ginger balls coward is lowballing him to avoid fighting him. Ginger doesn’t want to get his ass kicked again.

In fairness, this strategy works because Canelo’s fans will believe whatever bullshite he feeds them. You know, the guys who thought the cards from the first Bivol fight were legit and that his hot **** was the result of tainted tacos.

Contrary to your dimwitted conclusion, Canelo controls the purse whether Bivol is the A-side or not.
No one is disputing that Bivol is the superior boxer but he is looking for a payday. Bivol's payday is very much dependent on Canelo. Canelo controls the purse, Bivol will have to take what is offered, and if not, sayonara payday.

Canelo can't control Bivol at all. Bivol is a multi millionaire.

At some point extra money is extra money and it's just a number. How much difference will having 20 million be to having 10 million?

He doesn't need the money. He's beaten Canelo more than comfortably once already.

If Canelo wants the fight he best be willing to accept 50%.

I am not disputing that Bivol is a multi-millionaire and is the superior boxer. My assertion is that Bivol wants easy money and an easy fight against Canelo. Canelo has nothing to gain in this potential fight except more embarrassment and therefore, he is presenting Bivol with onerous conditions. If Bivol is so adamant about getting into the ring, he should arrange a match against Beterbiev.

I already explained to you that he made a guaranteed $500k before his share of the PPV cut and that it's disgusting how underpaid he is.

Is Bivol vs Clenelo II a bigger or smaller fight than Clenelo vs BJS 2.0, Callum Smith, or Plant fight?

Why in god's name should Bivol accept the same purse for the rematch he earned for the first fight given he holds dominant wins over not only Clenelo aka the biggest star in the sport but also another popular Mexican former champ, the then 44-0 Zurdo?

And he's the champion. Clenelo paid those other fighters that much because he wanted their belts so if he wants his dignity and soul back, to avenge his loss, and Bivol's belt he can compensate Bivol for them.

Even most Clenelo fans would concede that he deserves more this time round and that he should receive bare minimum what BJS 2.0, Smith and Plant earned and it's not unreasonable for him to want fair treatment at the negotiating table

Again, Bivol vs Clenelo II is a huge fight and every Clenelo fan on the planet knows who Bivol is now

Canelo thinks he is the one with the leverage when he isn't. Bivol has all the leverage here.

Of course he should fight Beterbiev. I've been saying it for the last 6 years

What leverage does Bivol have exactly? Yeah he beat Canelo but he’s in a completely different weight class and brings no money to the table. Canelo only has a couple more fights before retirement, there’s a who’s who of other fighters that he could fight at or below his weight class. What other options does Bivol have if he refuses to fight Beterbiev and a Canelo rematch? He has absolutely no other note worthy fights.

He's a multi millionaire, he's already beaten Canelo once. Canelo wants to avenge that loss, he can't force Bivol to take a lower cut, Bivol doesn't need the money.

If he doesn't fight Beterbiev or Canelo he'll continue to fight the guys he is doing at present, like I said he has all the leverage.

It's why he's the A Side in this fight.
