Answer me this - how was Canelo supposed to agree to a defense of Undisputed at 168 against Bivol with the WBC Russian ban in effect?

You have Bivol making an impossible demand out of Canelo, to defend his Undisputed against him - which is what you claim Canelo is avoiding. Are you not aware of the WBC ban of Russian fighters? You have Bivol demanding more $$ and to challenge for Undisputed which includes the WBC which is impossible for a Russian boxer. How exactly is Canelo supposed to agree to that. Meanwhile Bivol has the same problem with Beterbiev, he can't challenge for WBC as a Russian.

Until the WBC decides Russian fighters can challenge for titles, it's impossible for Canelo to defend his Undisputed against Bivol. That's the elephant in the room, in that all these people keep accusing Canelo of this or that but it's clearly BS since no matter what Bivol is not allowed to challenge for the WBC. So Bivol fighting for Undisputed is out the window on that alone, And that's his reason for wanting to fight Canelo at 168. So deal with that and address that problem.

The WBC needs canelo more than he needs them. Canelo calls the shots. The WBC will bend over for Canelo if Canelo tells them to.

BS. That's not how it works. Canelo cannot get the WBC to remove its Russian ban. The WBC has to make that decision on its own.

It was in place well before Canelo fought Bivol. You're once again showing that you have no clue about it.

So somehow Canelo should be expected to lobby for ending the ban on Russian fighters? And in your view if Canelo did that the WBC would just snap their fingers and the Russian ban would be gone? How naive are you?

Just like when the B side throws a fastball number, knowing full well they aren't going to get they're asking price. Again, we're all wasting typing time here knowing the fight will never happen.

Canelo has - Kirkland, Angulo, Trout, Lara, Cotto, Kovalev, Plant, BJS, Golovkin (he lost the first one fair and square though)

Bivol has - Canelo, Pascal, Chilemba, Ramirez, Joe JR

It's really not that bad wins in comparison- except Canelo brings in a hotter crowd aka more money, thus being the A-side. You think Whitaker would get A side money vs Chavez in a rematch?

FYI Bivol's reason for fighting at 168 is to fight for Undispued. Don't you get that? He literally can't do that with the Russian ban in effect. His reason for wanting to fight Canelo at 168 is for legacy, to be Undisputed. He's made that abundantly clear.

Who wins then - Bivol or Beterbiev?
