Turki hasn’t a clue about boxing. He can’t match-make, every single fight he’s put on this weekend has been utter guff. He’s a boxrec warrior who genuinely doesn’t watch the sport. I mean the **** spends half of each fight greeting people or on his phone, not having a scooby what’s going on in the ring.

 

Bring back Kinehan

Worst night of boxing I've ever seen

 

Crawford looked huge in that face off with Canelo. He was probably wearing shoes with a bigger platform but he was taller and his shoulders looked massive.

Canelo looked rubbish in there and he doesn’t knock anyone out anymore. I imagine Canelo will be doped to the max but I fancy Crawford to box the **** out of Canelo in September.

For me Canelo should have gone for a fight against Eubank at SMW. Sells out a stadium in England and it’s a fan friendly fight, Eubank sure as hell wouldn’t run and he doesn’t have the skills to box on the periphery like Scull did tonight.

 

It was fun at the start but I’d happily never watch another Turki card. Awful atmospheres unless in the UK and they go on like he’s a boxing purist but he doesn’t even watch the fight. Too busy speaking to other people ringside.

 

Thank god Inoue is fighting today/tomorrow after those 2 awful cards this weekend. We might see a punch thrown. Added bonus that it doesn’t have Turki’s grubby hands all over it.

 

What an awful card Bakole looked like an elephant tap dancing he's too heavy and Canelo and Scull was a bore fest

 

I bought both PPV cards and I almost feel cheated.

The boxers are only there to collect the Saudi pay day and they don't seem interested in putting on a good fight.

By the way: How strange it is to see Canelo fight in front of 1000 - 1500 spectators.

 

Canelo was fighting at 6am local time and both fighters & spectators acted exactly how you’d imagine… like they were knackered and just wanted to go to bed.

The lack of atmosphere in these cards is filtering through to the fighters. No urgency.
