Reading this post you have the audacity to accuse me of trolling. Clear case of “pot calling the kettle….” I would say.
Oh come on, Olu.. You're a lot more fun when you're trolling than when you feign outrage or indignation. Besides, you sometimes seem like a smart lad when you post in the lounge. I'd rather imagine you as a nascent, burgeoning disciple of BE than think of you as being utterly clueless about scoring boxing.
I am extremely smart so when I say Canelo won, it should give you pause for thought! I never said the fights were not close I said Canelo won and proved himself the better more skillful fighter.
There you go...that's better, more like the usual, normal Olu. And it's heart-warming to hear that you're extremely smart, even if that assessment originates with your humble self.
GGG fans are highly emotive particularly when it comes to his failures against Canelo. They think that GGG moving his arms more than Canelo did translates to winning rounds and victory. In professional boxing it's not about counting punches thrown, it's assessing who landed more of the quality heavier shots, who had more ring generalship, who showcased better defense. Canelo neutralized GGG's aggression in the first fight, and landed the heavier more eye catching punches in more rounds than GGG did, and in the rematch he beat GGG down with power punches. GGG's steady stream of light ineffective jabs could not match Canelo's steady stream of heavy power punches and that's why GGG lost.
Well said!!! The basic problem is that this Lil G fans don’t understand boxing nor do they like it being explained to them. They are deluded and dumb.
We must have different definitions of OBJECTIVE, Olu. The only person I've seen claiming that you were extremely smart was you. In my version of English, that renders the claim SUBJECTIVE. But don't sweat it, lad. I believe you when you tell me you're extremely smart. Thousands of more cynical posters might well have their doubts.
The assessment is not from myself but examination boards and professional associations determining my excellence.
If you say so, young fella. Far be it from me to harbour doubts on the matter of your "extreme smartness." But as I hazarded earlier, not everybody is as trusting as I am when it comes to accepting the gospel according to Olu. It's a Shame really.
