People STILL want to see him in a fight with Froch or Golovkin AND those people refer to a fight with Chavez as the most "meaningful" and best for their "legacy."

So yeah, I'd say some people still overrate the hell out of him despite losing 11 rounds to Sergio and the two awkward Vera fights in his last three outings... spaced out a good bit over the last, what, 2 years as well.

Noone refers to a Chavez fight as best for "legacy". People refer to a Chavez fight as best for money and popularity. Chavez is also a tough dude who throws punches, so he wont be boring to watch either.

He knew he couldn't beat the top dog at SHO. Canelo had no choice but to leave. He's the young lion who challenged the lion king and FAILED miserably. He didn't want another Floyd schooling.

Canelo was 19 when that fight happened which has no baring on now If Canelo-GGG comes off after Cotto, Canelo will take it to him Canelo has actually fought all the top guys at his weight so if he's overrated what the hell is GGG.

In an ideal world, the winner of Canelo-Cotto would fight the winner of Andrade-Korobov.

Alvarez looking for a fight either with Cotto or Pacquiao. Golovkin would be more suitable, but since he doesn't bring big money to the table, and way too dangerous to deal with, he will be ignored unfortunately. And yet some have the nerve to say Golovkin fights bums.
