    What's the problem?

    Are you for real?

You can't see an issue if he was to fight a another MW title holder, after he wouldn't fight GG who was his mandatory?

    WTF??

Haha. Everyone knows that Billy Joe is BIG business. Remember that time when he sold out erm... where did he sell out again?

If he'd have taken this fight instead of the Khan farce then I'd have been all for it but if he takes this fight now instead of the one we all know he should have he'll continue looking like a little ginger *****.

Honestly, some of the guys on here are brain dead.

He drops the lineal MW belt, avoids his mandatory who's also a fellow MW champ, then goes and fights another MW champ?

    :patsch

You're really going to call Saunders an attempted cherry pick for Canelo?

Well that'd put to bed the whole does he really want the fight question that people seem to still be debating.

The match itself would be intriguing.

    But what's not to like?

    Come on man.

If this comes off, what does that say?

I think by "business decision" we meant getting the fight on his terms, not avoiding Golovkin to fight someone else for less.

Saunders won't do a catchweight, not as the champion, so unless Canelo and GBP are going to let BJS fight up to the 160 limit this won't happen.

Canelo can just go back to fighting catchweights against brittle jawed welterweights, may I suggest Victor Ortiz

Canelo is the biggest joke in boxing at this moment in time, nobody involved in boxing looks more a of coward than him.

That's my problem with Canelo, if he don't want to weigh in at 160 then he can weigh 155, that's fine but why does the other fighter have to drain themselves in the same weight division, 154-160, anything in that range is fine, That's middleweight.

Nope, Canelo needs fighters drained or much smaller so he can puff out his little pigeon chest and talk cobblers to Max Kellerman.
