You're right, Chavez has some kind of deadline, or maybe it already passed.
Kanat is a light middleweight, not a bad opponent TBH.

canelo had to take his kecks off for the weigh in and looked very thin at the weight.
No fair play I've no problem with him at 154 as it is a proper division,it was that Catchweight of 155(the dumbest Catchweight acc to Thurman)that got folks hackles up lol.
Ok be that as it is given that in the past Canelo has fought the divisions best in Lara and Mayweather shouldn't he be at least facing the best the division has to offer,I mean Liam Smith only got the title cause of it being stripped from(Andrade was it)?so Smith was the definition of a paper champ.
Last but not least about Canelo not having to move up for Golovkin,if it gos through he's gonna move up past middleweight to 165lbs against Chavez?

Canelo looked healthier in his last fight at 154 than Golovkin in his last fight at 160.

If anyone is feeling the effects of draining its old man Golovkin.

At the end of the day that's speculation you don't know only him and his team know. Also how is him offering a fight any different than GGG offering 164 to Ward but 168 to everyone else Chavez included?

a Canelo/Islam fight will definitely bomb on PPV and do less numbers than Canelo/Smith I would imagine. He's even more unknown than Smith.
At least with Smith, he was known as part of the Smith brothers in the boxing world.

Canelo would say Kanat deserves it more as Golovkin.
Just like Smith, Khan and Kirkland did.

He dropped his belt, why he would keep the lineal is beyond me. Canelo has not come in at the full 160 he came in a just enough to barely make limit. Also him going up higher for Chavez but not GGG is no different then Golovin not moving down for Canelo but will for Floyd or how about the time GGG offered Ward 164 and Chavez 168?! Canelo is not officially in that weight class he went there to make money. GGG is not a star yet not even in close to Canelo. Hence why he's trying his hardest to get in the with him, GGG needs Canelo it wouldn't be that way if GGG didn't feast on bums his entire career

My point is that no other junior middleweights are gonna take a fight at super middleweight so Oscar can scream from the roof tops about how his star is a tiny likkle junior middleweight but the fact that they even talking about facing Chavez at 165 suggests otherwise don't you think?

It makes sense, totally does but they need to be held to the same standard. Abel has said Gennady is a small 160, similar to what oscar said. Canelo offered Chavez a fight and used weight to duck the bigger challenge. GGG did the exact same thing to Ward. Call a spade a spade, that's all I'm saying neither situation made or makes sense. But to judge Canelo harsher is bias a fck.

Cinnamon messed up when he talked that sh*t that ring after Khan. That's where he fcked up at lol. But GGG and his team anyone from 154-168. But we found those things not to be true.

He will be a star after the Jacobs fight, I have a feeling that fight is going to do surprisingly good numbers.
