I'm fine with the catchweight, of course as long as no middleweight titles are involved, but I hardly believe if GGG would say YES to Canelo/Cotto to fight @ 155/156 etc , they would fight him.

The truth is Golovkin needs to beat a big high profile name to become a real PPV fighter. :think

They don't have to fight GGG as long as they vacate the MW titles (WBC & Lineal). GGG wasn't fighting these so called superstars so Lee, Quillin, Jacobs, Eubank all OK fights for him. But what's Canelo going to do after Mayweather & Cotto? Fight a Charlo? lol. They will need GGG, eventually.

When GGG has united all the titles they can either fight him or try their luck at 154 or at minor belts.
Certainly Canelo has to fight Golovkin eventually, because I doubt he can make 154 much longer

Yeah, it was really lame of Golovkin to not defend his SMW title against his mandatory challenger, Andre Ward.
