It's not a robbery. This was quite close, because Alvarez did a good job early on. A lot of close rounds that could go either way, and boxing rule #1 is that the bigger star gets the verdict at the end when it's close. Think most would see it for Golovkin again, but this wasn't really a robbery, because you could easily and legitimately score this for Canelo.
HBO & BT Sport reporters agreed that GGG won. A close one for sure, but I have to say am in agreement with this consensus.
I scored for GGG but agree it was a great fight & not a robbery. A lot of close rounds that could have gone either way.
i thought it was a seriously close fight either fighter could of lad no robbery at all i personally scored it 115-114 with the 1st round a draw, problem with boxing is that it is subjective especially with these type of fights again like the 1st fight its what you liked!, i personally liked the quality shots of saul but if you liked ggg jab you have him winning but definitely not a robbery
Reputation shouldn't win fights. I agree Canelo fought very well and I commend his performance, however GGG did more than enough to win in the second half of the fight and at the very least earn a draw. Canelo was given the benefit of the doubt in the first fight, after he got battered through most of it's duration. His last 3-4 round fight back earned him that draw even though it was clear he lost. GGG didn't get the same benefit of the doubt with the judges and that's why it's a robbery. They wanted any excuse to give it to Canelo tonight.
