Trout probably believes the wbc and official scorecards, which he shouldn't.

This guy has never been in a boxing ring in his life.

Trout tried to stink the joint out. He wanted to stay on the outside, and arm punch his way to victory.

You could tell that this was his intention because he admitted it at the end of the fight.

That's why he couldn't land **** for 8 rounds because he was too scared to engage. He just flicked the jab, hoping Canelo would chase him around like an imbecile.

Canelo turned out to be the better boxer.

Trout schooled Canelo is a bit strong. I felt like Canelo's moments were not enough to take some rounds away, and Trout won a close decision.

How is throwing nothing but tenative, scared to engage, arm punches, and missing almost all of them amount to winning a round?

If you are refering to the rounds where Trout was very aggressive and actually committed to his shots, you might have an argument, except for the fact that Canelo made him look foolish most of the time and responded with the harder, better shots.

It was a close, but clear fight that Canelo won.

Trout missed alot of shots, but while Canelo was vertually doing nothing in the round..

activity is what you go with..

    it's all good my dude..

yea, i exaggerated with "schooling", but i feel Trout did enough to get the nod..

i have given Canelo much props in this thread bruh..
i just can't admit to something i don't believe in.
i'll be wearing the Canelo Avi by tomorrow if that makes you feel any better

Not if the other guy is doing more damage.

Alvarez did the most damage round after round. It's not fair to give the fight to a guy who's intention is to run and jab.

If Trout wanted to win the fight, he would have stepped in with his punches and tried to win the fight.

Instead, he just flicked out arm punches, and missed almost all of them, and Canelo responded intelligently with the better shots.

I disagree that the guy who just flicks arm punches out and tries to stink out the joint should be given rounds.

If anything, they need to make the ring size smaller, which will prevent guys from implementing a stink out the joint style game plan.

dude.. 'stink out the joint' though? it's not Trout's fault that he isn't as powerful as Canelo..

what u forget is that Canelo has been on his backfoot just as much as Trout in this fight..
