I've seen your other reaching post claiming that Hearn saying this means nothing, which is just ridiculous. A fighter always makes decisions based on minimal.risk maximum reward. Canelo is no different, and is in fact a big proponent of this. Denying Canelo's cherrypicking is just being flat out delusional. I can go through every Canelo opponent and detail why they are a cherrypicks

You're not coming across well here . Bombing the thread with your passive aggressive comments might make you feel good but I'm not sure what you think you're achieving....Pumpkin...

He's talking nonsense and I'm pointing it out, shooting straight.

Could be you think I have some kind of deep investment in Canelo? I would've commented on @Quina74's schtick a long time ago if that were the case.

I had you picked for a solid guy. It would be a shame to see you turn fairy just because I have some kind of a balanced position on a contentious fighter.

You literally said nothing of value here. Hearn in essence admitted cherrypick and you've just simply claim that he was sucking up to him, which is not what it sounded like

Canelo is good fighter, never found him to be all that interesting to watch whether it was his earlier or recent work, he was never that exciting to begin with if were talking "Style of Fighting" that's why i was so shocked to see how the media and boxing general circles were constantly trying to propel him to the public in a way almost forcing him onto us & the rest as this "Next Big Superstar" especially during the end of both Pac/floyd's run,

I always questioned had he not been from Mexico would anyone have had noticed him in the same way they did especially at that given time or would Canelo then had to do allot more and challenge himself in many ways before receiving that sort of attention had he not been of Mexican descent,

eg: imagining a fighter like Roman Gonzalez being from Mexico, he most likely would have had a whole career trajectory affecting his Career,Pay,Attention etc ,Someone who is very exciting to watch in every way in the past and even now currently in comparison to said "fighters" & instead are not nearly talked about as much, mentioned, or even respected overall regarding a "fighter" who is either from the US/Mexico Territory,

It's like most fan cant think for themselves and instead just cheer for their ethnicity rather than the Boxer and his/her personality.

TBF , I think both of you have fair points, Hearns (man just saying that name leaves a residue) did suggest they chose Bivol as he looked poor in 2 previous fights but also Hearns , as Nav has pointed out really is a ball sucking creep...

I do agree Hearn is a ball sucking toff, but he sounded like he was genuinenly agreeing with Bivol there.

But one thing is, all fighters try their best to choose their opponents.. The cash cow can easily choose who to fight. I strongly believe chose to fight Bivol clearly on the basis of his last two "underwhelming fights".. Especially considering that has been Canelo schtick for a long time (picking opponents at right time, handicappong them and what not)

I think thats a great & accurate opinion, I'd just like to add that Hopkins & ODH saw a opportunity to riase the mexican fans pride ie boxing on Independence day etc & the clever marketing by them..

Pac standards i agree, every opponent had so much tape on him, even after 2 years out opponent change at the last week, almost 3 month's shy away from turning 43, and still so close, so Old and with so much info, tape to study, sparring, etc and to be that good, Special is understatement for the calibre of fighter he was.

So by your own standards Pac was "exposed" By FLoyd and Marquez, among many others.

The First Golovkin Fight Giving Him a Draw was a disgrace...Thank Adelaide Byrd for that %90 of Fans on here agree.....Bivol was a dominant performance just a tad better than Golovkins first fight...Don't believe Me if Bivol lost 1 more round the Fight was a draw and we would be now looking at another Golovkin V Canelo fight disgrace.Thank God Bivol was so Dominant in that Fight He had to be to have any chance of Winning.!!!
