Mosley is shot, but its at elite level, i think he can still pull the trigger, especially aganst someone so young and raw like canelo, plus his suspect chin. IMO if canelo looks good against a guy like mosley he deserves alot of credit and has a great resume for someone his age.
If he wins, he should get credit. Mosely will still be a hall of famer even though his better days are behind him.
He gets credit if he KOs Mosley. A decision win against a shot fighter doesn't do anything for Alvarez.
any chance the fix could be in? im finding it really hard to believe there putting in such a green cash cow against a live veteran imo. props to gb.
I don't agree. I don't think he deserves much credit at all. People can go on about how young he is but the guy has had A LOT of fights, so that still counts as experience in my eyes.
exactly his resume is looking reallly good considering his age imo. probably one of the best as of late.
For doing what? Beating a fighter who everybody clearly sees as being shot? I am a big Mosley fan. I really hope he does something special and gets the win but I don't think its fair that he is basically being fed to this kid. Obviously he will deserve SOME credit for beating a great fighter but, he can't ask for too much credit because, as I said... Mosley just appears to be shot.
He's shot, but can still pull the trigger :think Canelo's handlers have chosen the right people at the right time. This is no different.
.....depending how Mosley looks and how he beats him if he beats Mosley. Mosley when unmotivated, as he has looked in his past couple of fights isn't much threat other than having a punchers chance. He doesn't like to trade / mix it up anymore and doesn't have good stamina to keep up.
Mosley's shot and Alvarez shouldn't get much credit at all for beating him but if he stops him that will strengthen the win some. Mosley is 40, hasn't looked good at all since Margarito 3+ years ago, and hasn't fought in a year. Nice match making for Alvarez here since Mosley is low risk high reward at this point in his career.
