Cotto is a very dangerous opponent for Canelo. They are very evenly matched up in terms of skill with Canelo being more fresh and Cotto being more seasoned. It could easily turn into a trilogy.

Nah, completely different styles and approaches. He might walk him down but he won't chase him around the ring, won't throw 100+ punches a round and won't be as willing to take up to 3 punches to land 1 of his own.

Canelo lacks Margarito's legendary endurance. After 4 rounds Canelo starts huffing and puffing.

 

Canelo will punch with Cotto and use defense and angles. A lot different than Margarito, who takes everything to the chin and keeps coming forward.
