Yeah I’d guess it’s probably because he already has a fight signed that he needs to be focused on?

Benavidez surely has to be the biggest fight out there for Canelo in terms of money generated and Mexican bragging rights. A fight of this magnitude would be massive on Cinco de Mayo .

Andrade isn’t fighting Benavidez to not fight Canelo. This is Haymon lining the pieces.

    "Coasting"? lol

The Bivol fight took place about a year ago, since then he's fought GGG, Ryder and is set to fight Charlo.

Im not saying he isnt active. Thats the good part about Canelo. But he shouldnt get an automatic rematch after getting schooled like that only on his name. Look how long he let ggg wait for afyer that controversial win.

everybody keeps saying that but based on what? I mean every fight Canelo is in is a Big fight but Benavidez don’t have no resume or accomplishments that says this a mega fight. Maybe if he beats a couple of top fighters then yeah but he hasn’t and fans are actively saying he shouldn’t fight anybody good until after Canelo so why do y’all assume this will be bigger than any other regular Canelo fight?

Canelo is more accomplished than GGG based on his resume and legacy he is entitled to a rematch if he wants. Next the 2nd GGG fight was a year later and was Canelo’s very next fight. And finally besides Beterbiev who Bivol hasn’t really tried to make a fight with who else is Bivol gonna fight that ppl consider a top elite fighter?

Im talking about the time between the second and the third fight. Not the draw.
GGG defintly deserved an immideate rematch at that point.
Canelo should get at 175 if he wants a bivol rematch and beat up some contenders to get another title shot if he wants that.
I agree that bivol vs betrrbiev should be next, anyone should want that. I believe its the promotional companies golding that fight bsck unfortunately cause there is no huge money there. Classic boxing politics.

It's just the joke of PBC hype. You dont understand cause youre riding the shortbus too but there's literally nothing Benavidez has done to deserve Boogeyman status. He beat Plant over 12 after Canelo stopped a better version of him.

    Wow. Such impress. What moves.

Based on Mexican bragging rights and there proud Mexican boxing heritage, none of the other fighters mentioned bring that . So your saying Canelo v Benavidez would not be a mega fight ?

I think unless Benavidez beats somebody it will be another regular Canelo fight, PBC good at hyping up guys so you never know. As far as bragging rights dude Canelo is the most accomplished guy in boxing currently with the best resume. Beating Benavidez isn’t no big deal Benavidez winning would be big for him not the other way around.

GGG lost the rematch fairly decisively and GGG could have gotten a rematch quicker but he decided to sit on his ass instead of forcing the issue. Canelo got the WBA title if he moves up he can automatically get a title shot if he wants it, that’s how it works when you a champion in a division.
As far as Bivol vs Beterbiev they trying to age Beterbiev out, every good fight isn’t some huge mega money fight the smart thing would be to beat the older Beterbiev and become the only man in town that everybody gotta come see.

I guess you missed where everyone in boxing has been calling for Canelo to fight Benavidez for the last year at least. That does not happen with a random nobody. Benavidez has some strong momentum and is established as a killer, yet Canelo and his fan boys still acting like 'whos that guy?' Hilarious. Plant V Canelo did 800k two years ago, Benavidez fight would do over 1 million easily and Canelo knows it.

Strange they don't use that logic with the charlo bros who nobody was asking to fight Canelo in 2023 or bum Ryder, or old GGG. Charlo might be undisputed but hes no draw, his last fight was infront of 7000 people in free tv. Stop the cap.
